Plastic

Normally Polystyrene

Is more expensive and does require a solvent type glue for good results. This will form a strong joint within seconds.

It has the advantage that it can be purchased in many different sections and in embossed sheet.

Plastic can be cut with a sharp knife or circles with dividers, whilst thicker pieces can be scored and snapped or cut with a saw.

Polystyrene sheet can be vacuum formed in the Eldon workshop.

It is often refered to as Styrene although this is a liquid.
